But in the time between finding out about it and calling the bongo player, I was freaking out even though I didn't know if we were playing or not.

A bunch of us play in a pub every tuesday night, anything between 4 - 12 of us, just acoustics...apart from that, there are usually quite a few people in, but I've found that playing with other people tends to totally focus my mind on playing and singing.....

What I'm trying to get across, I suppose, is that when I'm concentrating so hard any extraneous noise is just filtered out....

Whitney, hear what you are saying and I agree. I'm sure it's in my head and I only assume it would drive her nuts. Some of it might also be my insecurities.
