Yeah the HS version I was talking about is a '72 "Tele Custom" reissue. It doesn't take the shape of a tele, but shares its shape with a tele deluxe (an HH tele with this different body).<br><br>If I got a strat I wouldn't really want a humbucker though. I'd chose to spend a bit of money in shoving an active (most likely neck?) pick up in.
Apparently the TExas Special PUPs are very good on a strat, they come on the one I posted the link to, however it doesn't say if it's a Mexican, but I'd guess it is at that price<br>I have a Squier Strat but would love both a Tele and a 'proper' Strat! One day maybe?<br>Again, I'd suggest Peter Cooks, they've seemed very friendly and knowledgeable whenever I have spoken to them, wish I could get to the shop, perhaps when I have the cash, I'll mkae the trip?]]></content:encoded>

But I have a PRS Santana SE and it's a great guitar. I've no problem with it. I just bought a new acoustic so I won't be buying another guitar, at least not this year. but maybe a strat next year! A couple of things I like about strats is the contoured body and the maple necks.]]></content:encoded>
