Sorry, no idea how to write that in tab. The problem is that what he actually plays is

e|-----0--|-----0--|------0-|------------
B|-----1--|-----1--|------1-|------------
G|--------|--------|---------|------------
D|--------|--------|---------|------------
A|-3-3----|-2-2---|-0-0----|-2-2-3h5-
E|--------|---------|--------|------------

The hammer-on is a pretty big part of the sound, which sucks because it'not easy to hammer on to the fifth string and you can't use the open fourth string. I fixed this by adding a note for the hammer on, so you can use the open 4th string without losing the drive too much.

Also, are you sure the drone is played on those strings instead of 2nd and 3rd?

e|--------|--------|--------|------------
B|-----1--|-----1--|------1-|------------
G|------0--|------0--|--------0-|------------
D|--------|--------|---------|-------------(0)
A|-3-3----|-2-2---|-0-0----|-2-2-2h3----
E|--------|---------|--------|------------

A final option would be to play higher up the neck, possibly with a capo to make things easier.

Capo at 1st fret:
e|--------|--------|--------|------------|
B|--------|--------|--------|------------|
G|-----5--|-----5--|------5-|------------|
D|-----5--|-----5--|------5-|------------|
A|-3-3----|-2-2----|-0-0----|-2-2--3h5---|
E|--------|--------|--------|------------|

No capo:
e|--------|--------|--------|------------|
B|--------|--------|--------|------------|
G|-----6--|-----6--|------6-|------------|
D|-----6--|-----6--|------6-|------------|
A|-4-4----|-3-3----|--------|-3-3--4h6---|
E|--------|--------|-6-6----|------------|

The riff would be something like this, it hardly matters as long as it's pentatonci and you end on a c. (Capo at first fret):

e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|-0h2p0--------------|
D|-------2-0-2-0------|
A|---------------3-3--|
E|--------------------|

or you can play it like this, gives you all the time to move back for the verse again

e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|--------------------|
D|-5h7p5---0---0------|
A|-------7---7---3-3--|
E|--------------------|

I recently posted a tab request in the ESD for 'Boyfriend', a David Saw song performed by Ben Taylor. Its a fingerpicked song with a nice gentle feel to it. It has complicated bits too, but I'll get to them another day....

Anyway, I have had a go at figuring it out myself and haven't got very far. Heres the song:

http://www.james-taylor.asso.fr/mp3/2-Your%20Boyfriend.wma

I don't know how it starts (can't even figure that out) but the I think the bit after the first two or three notes is something like this

e|-----0--|-----0--|------0-|------------
B|-----1--|-----1--|------1-|------------
G|--------|--------|---------|------------
D|--------|--------|---------|------0h2---
A|-3-3----|-2-2---|-0-0----|-2-2--------
E|--------|---------|--------|------------

However, the fourth part, the 0h2, just seems wrong, but I can't work out what he's doing?

So, if you listen to the music, what is he doing at the start (around 20 seconds) and what is he doing at 26 and 32 seconds (the thing I have as 0-2)?

Thanks in advance for your help. Oh, and if anyone wants to figure out any other parts - feel free 0)
