The hammer-on is a pretty big part of the sound, which sucks because it'not easy to hammer on to the fifth string and you can't use the open fourth string. I fixed this by adding a note for the hammer on, so you can use the open 4th string without losing the drive too much.

Also, are you sure the drone is played on those strings instead of 2nd and 3rd?

A final option would be to play higher up the neck, possibly with a capo to make things easier.

Anyway, I have had a go at figuring it out myself and haven't got very far. Heres the song:

I don't know how it starts (can't even figure that out) but the I think the bit after the first two or three notes is something like this

However, the fourth part, the 0h2, just seems wrong, but I can't work out what he's doing?

So, if you listen to the music, what is he doing at the start (around 20 seconds) and what is he doing at 26 and 32 seconds (the thing I have as 0-2)?
