so with the power chords you are using you are in the ball park.

the sharps are throwing me a bit. but I think (read guess) the C or G scale could work. play it and see how it sounds.
can you record and then play over the playback? sometimes that helps.

I find it help when constructing leads. I will start in the right key but along the way get mixed up and end up in another keuy.
but with the ability to playback I can correct my bad tendencies.

each number is either a whole interval or a half interval.
a whole interval on the fret board is two frets.

since you are appeggiating your lick could grow from that.

once you know the intervals between the notes you can bend up to the interval or note. things like that.

keep the lick simple. tell a stroy wih it. create a tension with some notes and then resolve them with the proper notes.
finding the scale will help you see this.

JUST like Dairy of a Madman or Revelation by Ozzy and RR. I have matched my power chords to the same notes as this little ending part of the classical and it works beautiful. I have some questions though being this is my first song EVER. How do I go about making a solo for the song? I havent really tried anything yet but I just know that I cant get the solo to match the songs tempo and sound even if im in the same key. IF you have noticed most songs there solos slow or fast have the same sound as the basic song it self so i was wondering how to go about making the solo.
