I'd call it a 3 position switch tho.<br><br>PS if I were in your shoes, i'd probably take a shot at it &amp; then just buy the 8 pin version. <br><br>Hope this helps!<br><br>PS COMPLETELY guessing here, but if 1 prong is conventionally ground I would guess that's the missing pin &amp; you have to ground to a metal part of the switch.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have a Squier strat,that i have put two humbuckers into, My problem is i have a cheep nasty chinese 3 way lever switch that has 7 connections on it, they normally are 8.<br>I have 2 volume and 1 tone control. hot wire from neck pickup goes to volume pot one  no(3 lug)<br>                                                          hot wire from  bridge pickup goes to volume pot two no(3 lug ) <br>These two wires i have connected to the fist two pin,s either end of the switch <br>I have a wire from the middle pin of the switch going to the tone pot no(1 lug) with capacitor on tone no(2 lug)<br>to the body of tone pot. A wire from tone no(2 lug) to output jack ,<br>Volume work fine but no tone working.     ----------------<br>                                                                    / 7  6  5  4  3  2  1 /                                 <br>                                                                       0  0      0      0 0  SWITCH showing my connection points<br><br>regards for any help,,,have not worked out yet how to post url,s]]></content:encoded>
