1. The new tuners are heavier than the ones factory installed on my guitar. The guitar already has a heavy neck so it wants to fall to the floor. More weight means more pull.

2. I'm not sure if I'd have to bore a larger hole to accomodate these tuners. I love carpentry but don't want to hurt my guitar.
