It doesn't bother me as it does not come through the amp. As I said, I'm just trying to learn to work on it a bit myself. Think I'll just leave it the way it is since I'm happy with the action and play the thing! Thanks for your replies.]]></content:encoded>

Try each fret up the length of the neck, when you know when the string buzzes you'll know what the appropriate corrective action would be.<br><br>Does it only buzz on the open string?  Then your nut may need work.<br>Only at one fret? You may have a high or low fret that needs attention.<br>Only below about the 7th fret? You may need to adjust the neck relief.<br>At any fret? You may need to raise the action a bit more.<br><br>Also, listen to which frets the string is hitting by putting your ear up close to the neck.]]></content:encoded>

I think Iv'e got the action set pretty well but I get a bit of a buzz especially on the G string. I't can only be heard when it's unplugged and does not come through the amp.  Is this normal and ok or should I keep adjusting. If so, what do I need to do? The action is set pretty close to Gibson specs on their site as far as bottom of the low and high E from the top of the 12th fret.]]></content:encoded>
