Hello all and thanks for everyones help in advance. I just changed pickguards in my strat and now I get more feedback when in different standing positions near the amp. When I am perpendicular, I have hardly any noise(standard strat hum)...when I am facing the amp, the noise is quite loud and when I am facing away from the amp, the noise is also quite loud. I don't think it's a grounding issue because there is no change when I palm strings or ground the guitar. It only becomes very noisy when a certain standing positions near my amp. The amp is a Fender Blues Junior and I put 3 single coil 60's style that range from 5.77 to 5.94 with 250k for all 3 CTS pots, and a Fender 5 way. Looking for "that tone". I had a hot set of 11.65-12 pickups in this one and I went completely the other way. But not nearly the noise with the other pick guard. And with my other axes, I don't get loud noise and I don't have to find that certain perpendicular standing position. Any ideas?
