                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[The frets are held in place by friction - there are little bumps on the tang (the part that goes into the wood) that hold it in place.  Don't use glue.<br><br>Best case, the fretwire wasn't properly bent for the radius.  I've never seen this on a factory installed fret, but I've seen it on amateur refret jobs.  It can sometimes be fixed by tapping it back in place with a hammer.  If you're in very dry conditions, get the guitar into an environment with proper humidity first, and leave it there for a day or so before putting it back in - otherwise it'll just pop right back out.<br><br>Worst case the fretboard is too worn for the fret to fit - the tang pulled little chips of wood out along with it.  The cure is a fret with a wider tang - take it to a repair shop.  Doing one fret should cost $10-20... and I don't think the Eip LP-II has a bound fretboard, so you should be at the lower end of that range.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Well, I have an epiphone les paul special lefty II, the worst guitar I have ever played.<br><br>I need to fix it up a bit to give it to one of my lefty friends, he wants to learn.<br><br>But one of the actual metal frets is coming off, so the 4th fret on the high E is no longer a G#, it's an A.<br><br>How would I fix this?
