I just got a Gibson Sg Special Faded model, a great guitar but i am having problem with string bending+vibrato cause i can't get a good enought grip on the string i'm bending - and trying to do a controlled vibrato on a bend is much harder than on my Fender Highway One with Large Jumbo frets. On the Fender i get my fingers "under" the string - i think it's mainly the large frets that makes the Fender easy to do bends and vibrato on, The Gibson has normal sized frets - but i've had other guitars with this size fret and i don't remember them being hard to grip the string on. So is there anything i can do to improve this? like adjusting the strigns higher or maybe the neck? Or is it just a matter of teqhnique - since i've been playing on jumbo frets for a good while now i might just not be used to playing on normal size frets.
