I'm getting quotes of $350 as a minimum, because they used epoxy instead of glue on old Yamaha acoustics, and the Fender has a difficult neck joint. Perhaps the Fender might be worth that, but not the Yamaha.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[On close examination, the saddles on both of my acoustics are filed down to their lower limit.<br><br>From what I've read, this means that the neck will eventually have to be reset.<br>I've looked at the photos on frets.com and it appears to be major surgery, but not that complicated.<br><br>I'm wondering if it's something I can do myself, especially since it's not worth the price to have a luthier do it on one of my guitars (a Yamaha FG-335).<br><br>Has anyone tried doing their own neck reset?]]></content:encoded>
