                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Your Flying V didn't come with the 500/496?<br><br>The Gibson pups are funny - they come only with 2 wire leads so you can't coil splits, etc (unless you bought after-market Gibsons).  Also, the ground wire is actually the exterior sheathing of the wire (the silver braid) so you can just solder THAT to a pot and then continue on with the interior wire to your switch.<br><br>I always find it odd that they use the exterior sheathing for the ground...]]></content:encoded>
