Well not exactly Milli Vanilli, but my Squier is loaded with stickers, if I ever want to remove one, do I just yank it off ? O_O

You can use Lemon Oil, but not Pledge or anything with silicones. Dr. Strinfellow's Lem-Oil is guaranteed to be compatible with guitar finishes, and a thing called GooGone and Orange Glo, well, they work too!

A propane torch will blister 'em off, for sure.

Ricochet , I believe I've owned one of your guitars in the past - was it an EVH strat that someone went nuts on removing some of the striping tape?
At any rate, what really works great at removing sticker residue is - butter! No kidding. Pull the stickers off as best you can, then slather a small amount of butter on the remaining residue. Let sit (marinate) overnight for best results. In a few hours time, or overnight, you will be able to buff the butter/glue residue off with a paper towel/soft cloth.
I have used this method over the years for glue residue removal from just about any hard surface.
can I use "I can't believe its not butter"? or real butter ? xD
Now I actually wanna try that just to see what will happen O_O

I think your guitar is gonna get a little fat on real butter? And try to hold the salt, and protect the hardware as much as possible or reduce salt intake on your trippin' on the oceans thread, or you'll get a rusty relic too, but for free?

The best way to loosen stickers is to heat them with a hair drier. Loosen an edge and then use the hair drier to warm up the glue on the exposed underside - just continuous, gentle pulling will have the sticker off in no time.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

:P I'll keep it in the case, I have a clasical guitar somewhere but I have no case for it and I really don't wanna take the guitar in my hands, if I play I'll play inside the boat :P I hope it makes it home okay.. but I just can't be that long without playing xD
And yeah I wanna make it fat so I have a Fat Strat ( Squier strat :P ).

<said with v high pitched voice, ascending in pitch as each sentence ends> Oh but like the 80s are like totally this season like yeah! You would be like sooooo unfashionable like if you like removed them. Y'know?
If butter works, dipping it in a deep fryer ought to work extra quick.

No Ric, that only works for Mars bars...
I never had a Mars bar with Milli Vanilli stickers on it.

Possibly because Mars Bars aren't vanilli (sic) flavoured :D

I know of three ways. The hair dryer is one of them, but the other two are WD-40 (but dont do that, because I have no idea what it would do to the finish, I just know it works on plexi-glass), and the other is a damp washcloth. once you pull off the stickers, just rub the cloth on the residue, and it will come off in a few minutes. :D
I play the guitar, I taught myself how to play the guitar, which was a bad decision... because I didn't know how to play it, so I was a sh***y teacher. I would never have went to me. -Mitch Hedberg
