I switched the pickup wires around and tested the bridge pickup through the suspect pot and it did the same thing. Luckily they include 4 sets of pots with the pickups. Just had to add a couple nuts to the inside of the new long shafts and it works.

thanks again,
Mike

Hey guys I just recently purchased an EMG ZW-Set of pickups and installed them in my Epiphone Les Paul. I'm having a problem with the neck pickup's volume. The bridge pickup sounds fine but when I put my switch in the upward position I have to turn the volume all the way to get anything out of the neck pick up and when the switch is in the middle position with the bridge volume all the way up and the neck volume all the way down and I turn up the neck volume the volume starts to come up but when it get about halfway it starts going back down and once it reaches 10 there is no sound at all. I've checked all my solder joints and they appear to be good and I believe I have it wired correctly. The switch is controlling the the pickups in the correct order. I'm a noob when it comes to all this stuff and a little insight into what my problem could be would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
