I had no idea that tuners could make that much difference. Before, the G string on this guitar would go out of tune regularly. If I bent on it once or twice, it was out enough it would bother me until I tuned it back up. With these on, I don't have to worry about it! It just works!

These fixed it fine even though the knob doesn't match, but they're not the same style as the sx tuners or quite as good IMHO. The lower priced grover style at guitarfetish look to be a better deal for your sx, especially the EZ lock ones.

It snapped the knob of the D string tuner right off. I had been thinking of replacing these at some point, but now I have no choice.

I looked in the Stew Mac catalog. They have one set for about 18 bucks, called "Economy" tuners. Every other set is $50 or more. I really don't want to put that much into a $150 guitar.

I saw a few sets on Guitar Fetish for somewhere around $20. http://store.guitarfetish.com/gisttonsi.html

Does anyone have any recommendations? Know of other brands I can find that are better bang for the buck? Are the guitar fetish ones actually ok?

Edit: These right here at catching my eye at the moment: http://store.guitarfetish.com/wiezlotu3x3f.html
