The push/pull can have two different functions. If you have single coils, it generally adds the option to have all pups at one go. The bridge selection switches one tone control and the bridge/middle selects the other tone control.
If you have humbuckers, the push/pull splits the HB pups and gives a single coil effect.

Question is... what pickup is selected with each of the 5 switch positions and how does the push pull tone control work..it seems to give a different effect every time I try it.
