Has anybody here tried installing the ENG-ZW pickups in an Epiphone Les Paul succesfully? I'm trying to and have had no luck so far. It's a Les Paul Custom - two volume and tone controls and a standard 3 way selector switch.

I'm pretty sure I've got the wiring the right way round - the instructions supplied are different to those on the EMG site, but my wiring matches the diagram (http://www.emgpickups.com/downloads/wiringdiagrams/ZWset.pdf). I've attached a battery that works, but don't get any response from the pups.

There are two cables that come from the selector switch - one white with red/black/white wires coming out of it and a gray wire with a white cable. The instructions mention the white cable but not the gray one - does anyone know if this needs to be connected to anything?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated!
