                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[It depends on the pen, that was used. Some felt-tips have a water base and some have "solvent" bases. You need to know what it was, to be able to decide what you can use to protect it. <br>Lacquer is a very smooth, tight surface, unlike paper, which is open and porous. You will ned to have a fine spray, held at a distance from the surface, so that the solvent has time to (partially) evaporate, before coming into contact with the lacquer (which must be free of any grease and dirt). You want the protective coat to remain in liquid form for as short a time as possible. It'll cover a larger area and require more time and effort, but will reduce "runs".]]></content:encoded>
