                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[You could try putting a piece of hardwood dowel that's just small enough in diameter to slide inside the threaded portion of the bushing and is about half as long (or a little longer) as the bushing and just thread the saddle stud back into the bushing.  As you tighten down the stud, it should press against the dowel and press the bushing out.  Just be sure that there is enough solid wood under the dowel for it to push against, you don't want to crack anything.  Go slow and don't force it.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hello, I'm repairing my friend's LTD Viper.  He bought this guitar second-hand and it came with quite a few problems.  The most significant being the broken ground wire that connects the bridge to the electronics.  I can't replace the wire because the bare lead is stuck at the bottom of the post-hole blocking the wire tunnel, preventing me from running a new wire to it.  Can anyone tell me how i can remove the threaded bushing.  I know I can solve this with active electronics but my friend is on a tight budget so I have to make use of the guitar's stock electronics.]]></content:encoded>
