Old strings throw off intonation - the dirt on the strings affects mass, and therefore tuning.]]></content:encoded>

The documentation that came with the guitar should tell you how to adjust the intonation if it is adjustable. <br><br>Take a look at the "basic setup" page on my site linked below to get an idea how it is done.]]></content:encoded>
