Is there any "secrets" that people use to fix these types of chips? Or should I just take black paint, and fill it in?

I've heard taking it somewhere to have it fixed would cost a very large amount of money because they'd have to redo the entire paint job, but I'm not sure I buy that.

Any Suggestions?

Thank you in advance!
