Makes all the difference in the world if you're after that classic Nelson tone.<br><br>By the way, I got a couple of those classical guitar straps, but for uke; they seem to work fine.]]></content:encoded>

I do this with my steel string and electric anyway, I find it puts me in a better playing position.<br><br>As for the original poster:  Unless your guitar has a strap button on the end of the body you won't be able to put one on without drilling holes.  If you do have one, just take a shoestring and loop it through one end of the strap and tie it around the headstock just above the nut or the first two tuners, if it's more comfortable.  I prefer the nut.  Then just put the other end of the strap to the button on the end of the body.<br><br>If not you'll have to get one installed by drilling a hole.]]></content:encoded>
