                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I just have to be different! I make one wind above the tail, coming through the hole, and aim for one wind below the hole. The two winds tend to clamp against the string, coming throught the hole and hold it tight. The tail is bent upwards, out of the way and, after a while, when I'm certain there's going to be no slippage, gets cut back to about 2cm.
That is the most surefire way to lock the strings.  It is one of the options on my site.]]></content:encoded>
