Moonrider/Yoyo do you think thats the main reason that the vocals dont sound good? I actually sang along with the song to record this, but, sticking the finger in one ear might help with my apparent tone defness.

Sticking a finger in your ear will probably make it worse. What you need to hear is the reflections and room ambience of your voice, that's why I suggested leaving one ear uncovered. The room ambience gives you vital "feedback" that helps you stay on pitch.

Maybe it needs a little more bass in it? I'm not sure, might help if I used my neck pickup actually. Well, you can tell me, the 2nd half of the first solo (where it gets high) I switched to my neck pickup for, did that effect what you were talking about?

The Singing: Consistently flat, uhoh! lol! Thats not a good thing. Moonrider/Yoyo do you think thats the main reason that the vocals dont sound good? I actually sang along with the song to record this, but, sticking the finger in one ear might help with my apparent tone defness. Thanks very much for the suggestions

Again, thanks for the comments/suggestions yoyo, moonrider, yoyo. Totally appreciate it. I'm going to hopefully get to redo the vocals soon. I may also redo certain parts of the guitar, and try to fix the tone, but I won't be touching the solos I don't think.

Any further suggestions/comments are wanted.

Love,
Taso
