You write songs that seem like they could be hits, for real dog.

The lead guitar melody is very catchy, vocals sound great as always, but the idea of raising the key ain't bad!

I really dig rough cuts and first takes.
A huge fan of that Dylan Demo sound.

I was getting the feeling of Donovan on this one - not a bad thing IMO.(The Psychedelic background on my windows media
could have influenced that as well :wink: )

Maybe you'll get lucky and have Zep as your backing band like Donovan had on Hurdy Gurdy Man!!!!

I like DemoEtc's idea on the alternating vocal range.

I'm thinking you could possibly raise the key a couple of notches; sounds like you're mostly in the low range of your voice and I've heard you go up there a bit more.

Or...alternate verses or half-verses between the low voice to where you jump up - maybe between verse/chorus; just so there's more variety in the vocal melody. I'm sure you could jump an octave easily.

I love the acoustic guitar sound too - nicely done on that.
