Why do "artists" have to be so sensitive? Just because you don't have the best gear, doesn't mean you can't make the best of what you have.  You're getting good signal to disc and to be honest, I've heard worse recordings with better gear. Download Audacity so that you have to ability to multitrack Do a scratch track with vox and guitar like you did. Then do another take of just your guitar an another take of just vox. You could even double or quadruple your guitar takes if you wanted to. Add some harmony vox. Add a solo. Some simple percs and all of a sudden you've got a demo quality recording. It's not the gear that makes the recording, it's the person playing it/recording it/mixing it. Your half-way to presenting you songs as a goiod representation of your talent. Don't stop there. Go all the way. Otherwise, no one of any clout will take you seriously.]]></content:encoded>
