Can't wait to hear the finished product! Thanks Mike. I actually finished the lyrics and did a 2nd? ( I lost count of how many takes I did on this) take on the song. Smokingdog was kind enough to offer to provide me with a bassline for it. I'm sure it will tighten things up when he's able to do the bassline. For now...here's the last cut, with all of the lyrics and a tweak on the mix.

Dog, I would love to take you up on your offer. I don't have a bass. Tried doing the bass line through the Yamaha PSR 275 keyboard/synth but sounded like crap through my little digital recorder. Let me know if you're up for it. I'll send over the file to you. Thanks bro!

I don't have any ideas for more lyrics, but what about if you just repeat this part:

I don't even have to know your name right after the solo? You could even repeat it a few times maybe.

Also, (and these are just my suggestions for your song), but maybe raise the volume of the keyboard just a bit, and do you have any way to ad a simple bass line?
