                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I tried a few times. Typical results. over three minutes of playing turned out some good phrases and some not so good phrases. I'm having a good degree of difficulty determining what the difference is between "accent notes" and "incomplete phrases". Some of my phrases leave you on the edge of your seat waiting for more. So what do I do? Play more to cover that up. The spiral keeps going and the stench is unbearable.

I see everyone did there own interpretaion of the song and didn't really play Jimi's version per se, but you all had some interesting stuff in there.<br><br>This is interesting because I just started learning this the other day. I only have the intro and a few lines of the verse down but it'll take me awhile to  get the whole thing down, there's just a lot of notes to remember.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I also did the recording in a one take, except of the intro arpeggio.<br>This was not my initial idea, but i just let it go when I was playing (had made some rehearsing improvisations before).<br>Afterwards I did some editing , but I can still hear some bad bendings :oops: ...<br>I used my Laney Bass amp head (has a good recording output) with fully overdrived tube pre amp, <br>plus some reverb added in the recording SW.<br>Guitar was my Yamaha RGX 320 with new pickups (Tonerider Alnico IV Classic , Humbucker PAF type).<br>These pickups has a much more balanced sound compared to the original pickups, that has a very dark bassy sound.<br>/Kalle]]></content:encoded>
