Your song is very appropriate, and from the heart. In fact I was hearing it as elevator music this week, without Eric Clapton or lyrics, and I thought... man I wouldn't be hearing these sounds now, if he hadn't experienced his tragic loss.

Life can throw out some very sudden and strange 'hardballs' and it seems we have to catch them, and instead of stuffing them in a sack, or whipping them at someone else, we can bring them back to where they came from, or deal with whatever pitched them, discuss or discover solutions, heal and go on to love.

I cant think of anything more special than a daughter or a grandchild.

Your song has great sentiment and feeling, and I like Rock a Bye too.

For the future, I feel that there could be (not sure, but a strong hunch) some "Sixpence None the Richer" songs, or anything sung by Leigh Nash, though she is a woman, and maybe soprano? (highest vocal range using scientific pitch notation, where middle C = C4) from approximately middle C (C4) to "high A" (A5) in choral music, or to "soprano C" (C6). Anyhow, guys sang it in a rock version for Disney's Final Fantasy.
