Is this a worship service piece? It wasn't really intended as a worship piece, although it would work well in a service. More of a celebration of spirituality in all it's shapes and forms.

The really cool thing about this is that most of the musicians participating in the project never had face to face contact with each other, or even phone conversations. We just sent the files to each other via the internet, with one team member assigned as "point man" to keep everything on schedule and make sure the files got to the assigned mixing and mastering engineers on time.

Our team (Team Spirit) was scattered across the US and Canada, with one teammate in Japan. I imagined early/mid Van Halen, all smiling and doing this tune with EVH ripping it up with tasty fills if not a brief solo. It could use a solo instrument to push up the energy/interest and put some edginess on all that polish -- especially, just before the chuckle and spoken part and something again during the outro. Could be sax, guitar, Hammond B3, harp ...
