I don't know of any free ones. I'll check around though..... I use Project5 with DimensionPro and Arjen uses Cubase (I believe and I forget what else).

You can use your keys as an external controller for whatever you have selected in any given track (except audio). Which is really nice if you record live or are looking for a certain sound in say, a drum preset. MIDI now, isn't the MIDI of old. I guess that depends on what software you use to though. I'm not saying mine is "the best" or anything like that, but I do have a ton a quality sounds at my finger tips.

I'll be making some BT's in the near future (I hope to anyway). I'll send you some for you and everyone collab with.
