As for the recording, well... I don't think I'm doing anything special, just the guitar plugged directly into the soundcard with a jack->minijack and then some vst plugins. I know that this is not normally adviseable, but it has been working fine for quite a while, so perhaps I have a... guitarfriendly soundcard.. It is onboard, by the way.

No timing problems or anything that you would like to point out?
Perhaps I should try uploading a version without effects, never really thought of that... it might be sounding better than it actually is :P

I've been playing guitar for roughly 3 years, I think, though I still suck as bad as ever... :roll:
I have been a regular reader of GN and the forums since I started, and without them I would have gotten nowhere, so thanks everybody.

Now, onto the song. It is actually not only the first the song I have recorded, it is also the first that I can play in its entirety, so it is somewhat of a milestone :P

What I would like is, if someone would comment on it, timing and execution of notes and so on, so that I have something to work with.

The backing track is from a magazine, and I'm sure I don't have to point out what of it is my playing :P
