Seriously, the slides sound great - refreshingly different, as everyone else who plays this song always tries to bend the notes. Some nice double stops in there, too - something I still have trouble with, especially when I'm trying to improvise!

Don't worry about the number of takes, or how long it takes you to get it right - the main thing is, you're there. You CAN play the song. Maybe you can't play it spot on every time yet, but I've absolutely no doubt you will - and pretty soon.

so it's pleasant to follow the flow.
I will say there is a difference between the slide and the bend . . . but it's minor.
The slide in this song pops out . . . whereas a bend would blend in better and keep the soothing effect the song has.
But it's a minor difference.
A really nice song played well, Joe . . . knock'em dead.
(don't forget to take some deep breaths . . . in through the mouth . . . out through the nose :mrgreen: )
