I have been using the Lambda (2 inputs instrument. 2 inputs mikes (with phantom power supplied) and a MIDI input.

the thing is i am thinkin of purchasing a USB Audio interface which i can plug the electro acoustic guitar i have into, and then plug this into my laptop and record this way with a vocal mic as-well . now is this a good idea or is it just a waste of money?
i have looked round at them but there are simply too many to pick form from someone who is new to this like me. if you could give me some examples of what i could buy or any advice i would be grateful

just to run through i own and electro acoustic guitar but i am looking for a better sound without having to buy a dynamic mic would a line 6 audio interface do this for me and if so which one? i am trying to run this on a budget so this is why im looking for some ideas :)

thank you I've used a Lexicon Omega as an interface for remote recording for a few years now and been pretty happy with it. On a budget, I'd recommend the Alpha model.
