Something like a Behringer UB502 should be possible for $15 or so. Then get a Behringer XM8500 mic or comparable, these run new for around $10-$15. Connect the mic to the mixer/preamp and connect that to the line-in of your soundcard. That's it.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hello.<br><br>I'm trying to record an album on my computer during my spare time. As a 14 year old, I enjoy doing it.<br><br>Two things gave it away. "spare time" and "14"<br><br>I don't have to money to record it in a studio and I'm doing it on my comp, but i keep getting a hissing sound. It's pretty poor quality most of the time, but I have been able to use the hiss for an effect.<br><br>How can I record it and de-hissify it?<br><br>(Note: I gots an acoustic, and a mic which is like those wireless ones, but has got a wire and a smaller head.)]]></content:encoded>
