Amazing sounds by layering amps etc...I guess usability issues are largely matter of taste, but since I've used Amp more I find GR harder to adjust to my liking.

So I guess I vote for Amplitube :-)

As for PODs I don't know for sure what do you mean by it...most Pods down to XT at least have soundcard type functions beside just editing patches via USB, i.e. you can record clean to track while you hear the effected sound via pod. I have used an XT for a while, but sold it off since Amplitube sounds much more realistic to me and with StealthPedal it also works just like a Pod basically.

I love the tones of Amplitube but I love the ease of use and variety of Guitar Rig. I like the GUI of GR but I like the sound of Amplitube. Noticed how I keep comming back to Amplitube. In your opinion which is best. Amplitube or GR.

Also one more item of discussion. PODs. Do most Pods have recording capability built in or is that just the new Desk top pod?

Thanks
