Then I added reverb to one solotrack, echo to the second solotrack and delay to the third solotrack.
It is not the best of music, but it was fun to test the capabilities of KAE.
After exporting the mixdown to a .wav file I converted the .wav file to .mp3 with Audacity.

The nice thing with the mixer is that you have control of the signal level of main mixed outgoing signal (with the LED VU meters) to the line-input of the computers soundboard .
Just occasional blinks on the 0 dB LED´s seems to be the right output level for the line input on my integrated NVidia soundboard.

I tried calling MF but they are closed...I could buy the "new" one but I have to add $8 for shipping unless I buy $99 worth of stuff...which I "could" but I really don't have the money right now...I think I'll wait about 2 weeks then I'll get it and the mixer together...

I looked for reviews and there aren't any yet...this was just released in November 2005 so no real reviews yet..I saw one and it looked promising...

It looks like Behringer is really trying to compete with the "specialty" companies...not sure if that's god or bad?

Thank Nils...Do you know anyone who has used the Behringer interface I posted? It's half the price of the M-Audio one...I have been VERY happy with all my Behringer products so far but I always ask when looking at something new.

Thanks
No, I have never tried it so I can't help on that. I am sure someone has so hopefully they chime in here. I like Behringer myself so I would like to hear about it.

OK...I would like to start recording with my laptop in my living room instead of using my desktop in the bedroom with the GuitarPort. I practice in the living room with the V-Amp 2 and it's a pain to have to move to the bedroom all the time and then try to find a similar tone on the GuitarPort...

I know the M-Audio Pre is probably the way I will go but it's a bit out of my pricerange right now...However I did find this Behringer Used FCA202 F-Control FireWire Audio Interface that's much cheaper and will allow me to also get the Behringer Eurorack UB802 Mixer. With the two combined I think it will give me every option I need that the M-Auidio Pre can give me (I was planning on getting the mixer with the M-Audio Pre anyway)..

Does anyone have experience with this interface? Also, would firewire be better/worse than USB in terms of latency and sound quality? I know quite a bit about computers but firewire is a bit new to me...

Thanks
