Reposting to the correct sub-board.

Does anybody have an opinion on the low-end mixers? I'm looking for one to control the sound flow to and from my "stuff" (looper pedal, CD player, computer, amp, etc.) for practice use only for now. Though using it for some simple recording would be nice in the future.

Some examples are:

Behringer Xenyx 802
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-Xenyx-802?sku=631263

Peavey PV6 Mixer
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-PV6-Mixer?sku=631366

If I did want to have the looper and some recorder (computer, digital recorder, or even tape) as possible destinations for the mix and switch between them how would you do that? Is that what is meant by "bus"? So, a 2 bus mixer has one set of stereo outputs? A 4 bus mixer has two sets of stereo outputs? (other than the speaker/headphone outputs)

Thanks
