I understan MME soundcards will have the worst case scenario as far as latency, true? I guess this will mean an added purchase of an external card if I want better results :(]]></content:encoded>

On the selected tracks, the output shows "master" and there is a Master tab at the bottom which has my soundcard listed as the output so I guess thats fine. On the input side though, the default stays as "none". when i click on the drop down menu, I see the name of my soundcard just below "none" but i cannot select it. I see an arrow for another drop down menu beside it, but nothing shows up. I've got some more detail in Kalle's post on Sonar. Thanks!]]></content:encoded>

I can't even activate the record  button on my audio channels cos it appears their is a problem with the interface between my souncard and the software. I can record thru midi (at least it appears to be recording) but i dont see any wave files and it doesn't playback anything.]]></content:encoded>
