I have a pair of old sennheiser headphones HD 414 from around 1975. And it still possible to buy the exchangable cable and earpads. And it is normally the cable or the earpads/cushions that gets worned out.]]></content:encoded>

The best part is the comfort - light, no pressure from the headband and not so enclosed that your ears start to sweat after about 10 minutes. I think that I've got my 99DM's worth out of them.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Bought myself (as a birthday present) new headphones:<br>Sennheiser HD200 Master, Closed-back, good for home studio monitoring.<br>I took the time to test a lot of headphones in a shop and decided that this was the type that fitted my needs best. <br>Nearly as good in sound as the most expensive Sennheiser headphones HD 650 but maybe not as comfortable. <br>Has a very straight frequency response and can be used for hours without being tired in and on  the ears.<br>And they are also so compact that you can use them as "street headphone" with a mp3 player]]></content:encoded>
