                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Ive got a basic understanding of what phantom power is:<br><br>An extra 48V potential boost across certain parts of capactor condenser mikes.<br><br>My desk can't provide phantom power and i'm thinking about getting a condenser mike for vocals. Can any one give some ideas as to the mikes I can't get because of phantom power and which ones I can.
