                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Cakewalk does not support ASIO. It is strictly WDM and DirectX. For most other software ie: Cubase, Logic, Live, Traction or pretty well anything other than Cakewalk and ProTools, you want to use ASIO. ASIO (Audio Signal  Input Output) is a direct link between the audio software and your card. In other words it bypasses Windows in effect. That is why there can be lower latency with ASIO drivers IF you have software to support it.]]></content:encoded>
