There two places to insert a pedal to get the BEST sound - between guitar and amp (or before the preamp stage) or between the preamp and the power amp (or after the preamp stage), which is where the fx loop comes in. The pre and power amps are mounted on the same chassis in the housing and don't offer the easy access like between guitar and amp.<br><br>Most effects go between guitar and preamp, so no loop is needed.<br>Those that sound best, when applied to the boosted signal from the preamp, would be put into the fx loop, but CAN be used before the preamp stage, although you will find certain by products (excess noise, etc) in your amplified sound.<br><br>I used to have a list]]></content:encoded>

I was wondering if this small 10w practice amp that comes with is capable of having an effect pedal plugged into it.
