I have  recently bought my first guitar - a Korean Crafter acoustic ( 'Headway' electrics), and have just been given a little 15watt amp ('FatRat') for my birthday.

My problem is this. After about 15 mins playing the amp starts to thud and bang as though there is a lose connection somewhere.

When I disconnect the guitar from the amp the banging stops.

It seems to be something to do with strumming the top three strings. But I can thump the sound board and no problem... If I switch the guitar button to mute and play, the amp still picks up the thudding noise. (But not the strings)

The puzzling thing is that all this starts after about 15 mins - as though the thing has somehow warmed up and gone wobbly.

Cable and guitar battery connections are all fine.

Any ideas please?
