But they are most often used to give an already overdriven tube-amp a firm kick in the back to make them really growl. It can also be used effectively before things like the DS1.<br><br>In general, a SD1 won't make the sound, it adds to it. DONT use it as only form of overdrive if you are going for metal sounds :)]]></content:encoded>
