Good post. Most of my gear is Behringer, and it really sounds quite good to my ears, especially considering the cost. The system works well together with plenty of power and headroom. We are using Peavey mains which I am not so crazy about. They are OK, but I've heard better. This might be heresy, but I've never been a big fan of JBLs. I was in a band we had JBL mains and monitors and I really didn't hear what all the fuss is about. On the other hand, EVs sound awesome to me. I guess it's all in the listener's ear. I am also a big fan of Yamaha, they sound great, Carvin too. I like Mackie speakers as well, very nice.

I really should invest in the Behringer Pro series. They get excellent reviews. Then I would have a fully matched system.

Anyway this is about speaker processing. I've learned valuable lessons. Buy the amps and speakers to match.. Its as simple as that. If you use behringer speakers use behringer amps, I have yamaha i just bought yamaha amps and the difference is amazing.

The processing built into the amps is designed to complement their speakers. It makes the world of difference.
