                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[This isn't a problem for guitar cabs, but if you're looking at speakers that have woofers and tweeters in them, running a lower powered amp and cranking it way up will blow the tweeters. Driving an amp into clipping puts more of the power into the higher frequencies that get shifted to the tweeters by the crossover. I've seen that happen more than once with folks using home stereo systems as improvised PAs at a party.]]></content:encoded>
