The usual result will be that the amp runs out of power for the low frequencies well before the speaker (if it's rated for the amp's power) can be damaged by excessive excursion of the voice coil. Most guitar speakers have a resonant frequency in the 70-100 Hz range, and their response falls off rapidly below resonance. <br><br>It's quite impossible to damage a bass amp by playing a guitar through it.]]></content:encoded>

Actually, although I usually use it for bass, it used to belong to a guitar player. However, you have to use the bright channel instead of the bass channel, and if an amp didn't have such a thing, I can't see it soundng very good. Also, a combo with a bass speaker in it wouldn't work very good.]]></content:encoded>
