I was not too impressed with the Jensen speakers, but that is me, listen for yourself and see what you think. <br><br>Just my 2 cents, but if you really want a sweet speaker, pick up a 2 X 12 extension cab with Celestion Vintage 30's. This is an awesome speaker, famous. <br><br>I have recommended Avatar many times. But they do make great cabs for a great price. Plus you can get the black tolex with silver grille to match your amp perfect. <br><br><a href="http://avatarspeakers.com/">Avatar Speaker Cabs</a><br><br>Check out the G212H  DUAL VINTAGE 30. Get this cab at 8 ohms and you can run it with your Texas Special, or use the extension cab alone.]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I was drooling over some super-cool HRD's on a site.  I guess Fender had limited production runs of souped up HRD's.  One was a gorgeous wood cabinet with a special speaker.  Oddly, one of my HRD's was a special run in '03.<br><br>The site says there was a Brown tolex version with a Jensen C12N (ceramic magnet) while my amp (Lacquered Tweed Hot Rod) has a Jensen P12N (alnico magnet).<br><br>What's the difference?  How do they sound different than one another.  Now, to complicate things even more, in my black HRD it has a Weber Texas Special.  Would that be as "good" as the other two?<br><br>Since I recently joined another band I just bought another full set of tubes for my black amp and am thinking of maybe getting another "better" speaker for it.  After it's biased and all, that is.]]></content:encoded>
