I've looked at those Johnson amps online, and they do sound attractive, but I don't know anyone who has one.

Question: considering that it's all-tube, and assuming the tubes are good quality, can it still be bad? It's an EL84 driven amp, so probably a good clean channel.
The best part is the price - around $270-280 in the shops.
Anyone have any experience of Johnson amps?
